
iK Developments was born out of a single desire:
To help organisations maximise their biggest asset - their people
iK was founded in August 2002 by the current Directors when they - after years of first-hand experience of the inadequate Appraisal, Performance and Talent Management processes in modern-day organisations - felt that there must be a better way of doing things.
This first-hand experience helped them to develop the niche Performance & Talent Management Appraisal Software Solution -
- with the first customer implementation of the software solution occurring in February 2004.
iK Developments has grown in leaps and bounds from this initial humble beginning, and
has matured from the initial version 1 solution of February 2004, into what it is today:
version 4 - the de-facto standard of on-line Performance & Talent Management Appraisal Software Solutions, helping organisations to out-perform their rivals.
Simon Barnes (Founder and MD)
Has over 25 years experience working in the IT industry. Creative designer of
Performance & Talent Management Appraisal Software, and driving force for its development and delivery to the market place. Has extensive project management skills gained through working with blue chip organisations.
Malcolm Jones (HR Services Director)
Has 24 years experience in Human Resource Management. An accomplished HR Director, with significant experience in supporting companies at Board level. Professionally qualified to FCIPD level
Significant experience in senior operational management roles as well as leading large, multi-disciplined projects. Very able at establishing and demonstrating, how
can meet HR strategic requirements.
Jaco van de Walt (Technical Director)
Our young and innovative technical expert. A highly experienced developer in his own right who uses the latest technology to advantage. Has an excellent grasp of both business and technology requirements that underpin the
design and functionality. Has excellent customer facing skills and ability to communicate across all disciplines – both internally and with customers.
Shirley Barnes (Client Relationship Director)
Has 20 years of working in Customer Relationship Management. Excellent customer relationship skills with natural ability to ascertain customer needs and issues. Has extensive financial management skills gained through working in mainstream accounting and banking organisations. Has significant experience in training, documentation and procedures.
